FootyBadger collects and processes personal data to provide football check-ins, supporter profiles, achievements, badges, rankings, statistics, and account support.
How We Use Data
We use personal data to create and manage user accounts, authenticate users using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login, record football check-ins, calculate rankings, achievements, badges, and statistics, prevent fraud and abuse, and provide account support.
Users may create or access a FootyBadger account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login. When using Google Sign-In or Facebook Login, FootyBadger receives basic account information required to identify and authenticate your account and provide the service.
Data We May Collect
- Email address
- Username or display name
- Authentication provider
- Provider identifier
- Favourite team and profile selections
- Check-in history
- Achievement, badge, ranking, and statistics data
- Approximate or precise location data when performing check-ins
- Technical and device information needed for security and abuse prevention
Login Providers
When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Facebook Login, that provider may process login data according to its own privacy policy. Authentication providers only share information you have authorised them to provide, such as your name, email address, and unique provider identifier where available.
FootyBadger uses this information solely for authentication, account management, and providing the application's functionality.
Data Sharing
FootyBadger does not sell personal data. We may process data with service providers where necessary to operate, secure, and support the service.
Your Choices
You can request deletion of your FootyBadger account and associated personal data. See the User Data Deletion page for instructions.
